2014
The Conference organized by the Committee for the Support of Libraries will explore the relation of libraries with entrepreneurship linked to creativity and innovation. The entrepreneur and business sectors are domains which should be further explored, although libraries already hold business information in their print and electronic collections. Partnerships and networking with entrepreneurs benefit libraries to think creatively and invent innovative services. The conference will also explore how librarians and information professionals demonstrate entrepreneurial culture with creating and exploiting opportunities to improve their services and the profile of libraries, through strategic partnerships, experimentation, risk management, through adaptability to changes, etc.
